Coping with Distress and Anxiety: A new group offering at Peak Resilience
We asked you, our wonderful Peak Resilience community, what you wanted from a therapy group and you delivered!

As a result of your contributions to our survey (we are overwhelmed with gratitude!), we are so excited to announce our upcoming pilot group - Coping with Distress and Anxiety

Our intention for this group is to provide a safe space to connect with a community, to diversify coping skills and challenge some of the ways systemic oppression shows up in our lives. As we move through COVID transitions - going back to the office, meeting with more people, reduced mask wearing - we anticipate this could bring up more anxiety in your already stressful lives and want to support you to navigate this exciting and scary time!

The details:
  • Four weeks starting when waitlist is full
  • This group will be conducted over Zoom.
  • Aiming for around 12-14 participants
  • It will be a closed group. This means we will have the same participants for all four weeks and attendance at all four sessions is encouraged.
  • Each week will be spent tackling a new topic, connecting with each other and learning new skills.
  • Registration for the group is $80 for 90 minutes of group a week ($320 for four weeks), which is in line with what the BCACC recommends.

We are so excited to be able to offer a group that our Peak community has asked for during this difficult and sometimes distressing time. There is power in connecting with other people and magic in compassionately being seen when things are hard.
