The Daring Way: 8 Week Course for Women

A Daring Way™ Group Inspired by the Work of Brené Brown

We live in a culture that tells us we are not enough.

Not good enough.

Not attractive enough.

Not smart enough.

Not productive enough.

The list goes on and on. We are ALL impacted by these messages. They impact the way we think, behave, and feel.

The Daring Way Course is for people who:

  • Struggle with anxiety, self-judgement, criticism, and/or self-doubt

  • Fear uncertainty and a lack of control which gets in the way of experiencing joy

  • Often question if you are enough

  • Feel as though you don’t deserve love and belonging

  • Believe you don’t deserve the life you want or you don’t have “what it takes” to achieve it

  • Question who you should be, what you should be, and how you should be

  • Struggle with perfectionism or set unrealistically high standards

  • Feel disappointed in relationship, worry what other people think, say yes when you want to say no, want to be seen as “nice” and avoid conflict

This 8 session course will explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. You will be invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding you back and identify the new choices and practices that will move you toward more authentic and wholehearted living.

The primary goal is to develop shame resilience skills and daily practices that will transform the way you live, love, parent, and lead. Participants in this course will learn actionable steps to manage shame and increase self-worth in a supportive group setting.

ABOUT RISING STRONG™

The physics of vulnerability is simple: If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall. Rising Strong is a book about what it takes to get back up and how owning our stories of struggle gives us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and the clearest path to a wholehearted life.

ABOUT THE DARING WAY™

The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings. During the process facilitators explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. Participants are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
